The Sightmark PVS-14 is a combat proven NV system currently used by the US military and Special Forces.   This ruggedly designed unit utilizes a single standard AA battery compartment, making it more lightweight than other similar units.  The automatic shut-off feature increases the functionality of the device as it protects the tube from being damaged when exposed to intense light sources.  Another preventative feature is the low battery indicator, which appears in the eyepiece when battery replacement is necessary.  In addition, the adjustable gain serves to achieve the highest quality image performance for varying light conditions.  Optional accessories include a 3x or 5x magnifier, weapons mount, and more.
